Invite a user on mobile or tablet

  1. Go to Ruby Datum > Manage Users.
  2. Tap the Add icon in the top right corner > Add User.
  3. Enter the new user’s email address and specify their user level.
  4. Optionally, add the user's name, a password and select any groups the user will be part of.

The new user will be sent an email inviting them to access the site.

Notes

If you don’t want the recipient to be notified immediately, untick the "send user an invite" before clicking Add User. Then email the user manually when you are ready, making sure to include the site’s web address and their login details.

When inviting users, be aware that automated emails, such as those containing login details, or notifications of new files added may be blocked by their email provider. In order to receive these emails, they may need to whitelist the IP address we use: 167.89.46.184
