How to delete files and folders

Deleting files and folders on a computer 

1. Go to Ruby Datum > Documents. 
2. Check the file(s) or folder(s) you want to delete. 
3. Near the top, select Delete. 

Deleting files and folders on mobile or tablet 

1. Go to Ruby Datum > Documents. 
2. Tap on the information icon next to the item you want to delete. 
3. Tap Delete. 

Who can delete files and folders? 

Administrators have the ability to delete all files and folders. By default, Editors can only delete their own files or folders. Editors and Standard users can delete other items only if they are given “Edit / admin” access to the relevant folder. 

Note 

If you accidentally delete a file or folder, you can use the Undo prompt to immediately restore it. You can also find and restore it via Deleted Items.
